Following Simon’s move with his young family to France in 2002 and several ‘degustations’ (wine tastings) with Paul, Purple Wines was conceived. Our aim – to bring a full, different and exciting range of wines to our customers, direct from the producer. We select growers with the ambition to make excellent wines using modern methods without neglecting their traditions and the characteristics of their different ‘terroir’ (soil).

After several visits to the wine growing regions of France, gathering contacts at wine exhibitions and among the wine growers, we have combined our knowledge and experience to provide a selection of French wines for any occasion. Whether you wish to stock your fine wine cellar, need a wine gift service for your business, are enhancing your pub/restaurant wine menu, looking for something different for that special occasion or are interested in finding something decent for everyday drinking, Purple Wines is at your service.

Our services include wine finding, buying and selling, delivery to your door – worldwide and naked for a fee! - Samples & tastings, consultancy, glass hire, parties, weddings or other special occasions. Our selection will be constantly extended and updated to cater for the diverse requirements of our customers.
